Elephant

Good morning, friends. Now, I would like to tell you about elephant. You know thet elephant is the largest land animal. In some part of Indonesia, there are still elephants living in the jungle. Elephants dont like to live alone. They always live in groups. They help each other when there is trouble.

The most interesting thing from the elephantis the leader of the group is usually a female elephant. She walks in front of the groups and the other females and their young follow her. And you have to know that male elephant walk behind. You know why? If there trouble, the male elephant make a circle around the other.
If one of the elephant is sick, all of the other elephants help it. Very amazing, isn't it? Two elephants will walk on each side on it to help it walk. All the elephants in a group helpto look after the young elephant. They help the young ones swim across river. And when a female elephant is going to have a baby, another female elephant stands beside her, to help her, like a nurse. So, we can learn a lot from elephants about helping other people.

Protein

Your body needs energy, protein, mineral, vitamins, and fiber. In order to get all of these, it is important to have a varied and balanced diet, and to eat the right the amount of food.Your body 'burns' food to energy: the amount of ebergy provided by food is measured in unit called calories.

How many calories do dou need? The depends on your weight and what you do. When you are asleep, your body uses nearly one calorie an hour for every kilogram of weight. So a personwho weighs seventy kilos, used about 560 calories while sleeping for eight hour. More calories are needed for different activities-from 1000 calories an hour for reading or wathcing TV, to 350 calories an hour for palying football.
To calculate the number of calories needed per day for an average person, find out the person's ideal weight. Ten multipy the weight by 40 for a women and 46 for a man. A 60-kilo woman may need about 2400 calories a day-mmore if she does heavy physical work and less if she is very inactive

Whale

The Blue Whale is largest whale and the largest living creature on earth. Blue whales were hunted a lot for oli, baleen, meat, and other products from the 1930s to the 1960s. This hunting almost caused the extinction of the species. They are now protected and may gradually be returning in several areas.

Blue whales are mainly found in very cold waters, like the Arctic and  Antartic waters. They migrate to the tropics in the winter and to the Arctic and Antartic in summer.

Blue whales can reach over 24 m (80ft) long; mature females are usually a bit longer than mature males. They weight betwen 87,500 - 142,500 kg. The skin has a light grey anda white spotty pattern.
